We are interested in how genes and experience shape the way that infants perceive, think about and interact with the social world around them.
Our studies run the gamut from genetic tests on infants’ saliva to the tracking of infants’ eye movements while they watch video displays. The measurements we collect give us insight into the brain development, emotional development, and even the beliefs of these smallest of individuals. We hope our work will contribute to brighter futures for vulnerable children everywhere.
