Shankar Vedantam,  Host and creator of Hidden Brain and The Hidden Brain podcast

Title: Giving Knowledge Away: The Art and Craft of Communicating Psychology 

Shankar Vedantam is the host and creator of Hidden Brain. The Hidden Brain podcast receives 2-3 million downloads per week and is featured on some 425 public radio stations around the United States. Vedantam was NPR’s social science correspondent between 2011 and 2020, and spent 10 years as a reporter at The Washington Post. From 2007 to 2009, he was also a columnist at the Post and wrote the Department of Human Behavior column, which linked events in the news to research in the social sciences. Vedantam is a graduate of Stanford University, where he received a Master's degree in Journalism, and Bangalore University in India, where he received an undergraduate degree in electronics engineering.
