Welcome to the website for the Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Conference (SUPC), the premier international conference for undergraduate psychology students. This year's conference will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2009, at Stanford University. The abstract deadline of 7:00pm PST on Monday, March 23rd, 2009, has passed.

Sponsored in part by the Department of Psychology and the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University, SUPC serves as a showcase for high-quality undergraduate research. It also provides an opportunity for participating students to exchange ideas and to make valuable contacts.

 

The keynote speaker for this year's conference is Stanford professor, Dr. Greg Walton. Dr. Walton has been an assistant professor of Psychology at Stanford University since 2008. He received his Ph.D. in psychology in 2005 from Yale University. His research focuses on self identify, stereotypes, motivation and achievement, and social cognition. He has received numerous research awards, including the National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship and dissertation research awards from the American Psychological Association and the Society of Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) in 2004 and 2006.

Undergraduate presenters and spectators of all kinds, from all universities, are welcome to register and to attend the conference, but space is limited. For more information, go to the Information page.
