Undergraduate Research Opportunities

We offer an undergraduate research practicum, Psychology 171, taught by Professor Laura Carstensen during the fall, winter and spring quarters. Since we train you to become an integral part of the lab this class is a two-quarter commitment (4 units per quarter). Some students choose to stay on for much longer. Rather than tests or papers, each student is required to complete 10 hours of lab work a week. Often lab students go on to write an honors thesis under Professor Carstensen's supervision. If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to contact us to talk more about research opportunities.

Participate in Our Studies

The research takes place at Stanford University in the Psychology Building. The Psychology Building is located within Jordan Hall at the main quad on campus. We provide parking permits to park in the Q-permit section. If you are interested in participating in these studies please call (650) 725-6855. You can also email us.
