The Department of Psychology no longer offers the Coterminal Program. 2015-16 was the final year the Department accepted applications and admitted coterminal students. The information on this page is for students already enrolled in the Coterminal Master's Program.
Three quarter commitment: Autumn to Spring
Courses taken for the Undergraduate degree cannot be duplicated
Must be a quarter overlap between the Undergraduate Conferral Date and the Admit Date of the Coterm Program
All courses must be passed with a grade of ‘B-’ or higher (unless the course is offered only on a satisfactory/no credit basis). Any exception to this policy must be submitted in writing to the Chair of the Coterm Program for approval and will be reviewed on an individual basis.
45 total units:
- At least 1 upper division Statistics course (i.e. Psych 252) that is approved by advisor
- 27 units - Core Courses labeled 200 or above
- 18 units maximum of lab, independent study, outside units, practica, Psych courses 100-199, research, teaching, workshops (222, 258, 269, 275, 281, 297, 282, 290)
- Master’s Thesis and Presentation in Spring Quarter
