Julia Zielke

Julia is a junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Music. She is co-president of Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Association (SUPA) and on the Psychology Undergraduate Education Committee board as student representative. She’s also President of Stanford Mental Health Outreach (SMHO). Her research interests include emotion regulation, beliefs, mindsets, and mental health (as well as music psychology!). She works in the Mind and Body lab under Professor Ali Crum and in the Psychophysiology Lab under Professor James Gross. She’s also involved with the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Outside of psychology, she loves creative writing, video games, flute, and tea. She’s always happy to talk more about psychology at Stanford, questions about the major/minor, getting involved with research, or really anything psych! :)

Erica Okine

Erica is a senior, majoring in Psychology, with a focus on Early Child Cognition & Development. She is also minoring in Global Studies. She is very interested in the psychological and social implications of having a visible difference, and she is currently conducting a thesis on this in the Science, Technology, and Society (STS) Department. Outside of psychology, she is an RA at The Warehaus (620 Mayfield), co-president of the Pre-Dental Club, and a volunteer at Heart and Home Women's Shelter. In her free time, she also enjoys reading memoirs, traveling, running and of course spending time with family and friends. She's excited to talk with you about Psych courses, the Psych major, and what to do with a degree in Psychology!
