Meet our PsychConnect Peer Advisors:
Natalie is a senior majoring in Psychology with a specialization in Health and Development. Her research interests include selfless behavior in children and the different ways in which children grow socially. She has worked in the Social Learning Lab under professor Hyowon Gweon since freshman year and is now completing an honors thesis continuing this work! Outside of psychology, Natalie is a Teaching Fellow for the Psych One program, on the Executive Board of the Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Association (SUPA), and runs her own anti-bullying non-profit/mobile app called Sit With Us. She also loves dogs, memes, Korean food, and anything Harry Potter. She is so excited to meet you all and would love to answer any questions you have!
Mishaela is a senior double majoring in Psychology and Communication. She's fascinated by the role of social media in the spread of false information and conspiracy theories on social media, particularly as they relate to social identity. She has worked in the Social Cognition Lab with Steven Roberts and is currently conducting a thesis with the Social Media Lab in the Comm department. She's also the president of the Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Association (SUPA) and loves talking about the real-world impact of psych! When she's not thinking about Psych, she loves traveling, talking about Disney, solving puzzles, and trying new things. She's excited to talk with you about Psych courses, the Psych major, and what to do with a degree in Psychology!
