Meet our PsychConnect Peer Advisors:

Julia Zielke

Julia is a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Music. She is co-president of Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Association (SUPA) and on the Psychology Undergraduate Education Committee board as student representative. She’s also President of Stanford Mental Health Outreach (SMHO). Her research interests include emotion regulation, beliefs, mindsets, and mental health (as well as music psychology!). She works in the Mind and Body lab under Professor Ali Crum and in the Psychophysiology Lab under Professor James Gross. She’s also involved with the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Outside of psychology, she loves creative writing, video games, flute, and tea. She’s always happy to talk more about psychology at Stanford, questions about the major/minor, getting involved with research, or really anything psych! :)

Noa Bregman

Noa is a senior majoring in Psychology, with a focus on clinical and health psychology. She is also minoring in History and Philosophy. On campus, Noa is a research assistant for Dr. Alia Crum’s Mind and Body lab, President of Students Against Eating Disorders (SAED), and a Teaching Fellow for Psych 1! She is also a student-visitor for the Javaras lab at McLean hospital in Belmont, MA, studying eating disorders and general eating behaviors. In her free time, Noa enjoys hiking the dish, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. She’s excited to talk to you about the psych major/major, how to get involved in research, selecting courses, or anything else psych-related!
