The Center for Reproducible Neuroscience (CRN) in collaboration with Meta-research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS), Data Science Initiative (DSI), and Center for Population Health Sciences (CPHS) are proud to present a full-day symposium on the changing landscape of scientific publication.  An interdisciplinary lineup of speakers will discuss the emerging publication of objects such as code, data, and platforms that go beyond the standard concept of a “research paper”.

Our speakers include (in order of presentation):

Russ Poldrack (Psychology) - Introduction

Mike Frank (Psychology) - A reproducible science ecosystem

Michelle Mello (Law school) - Ethics of data/code sharing

Mike Keller (Stanford Libraries) - The emerging publication landscape

Lindsey Heagy (UC Berkeley Statistics) - Sharing code and platforms

Alex Wade (Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative) - The paper of the future

After the talks, there will be a discussion panel featuring David Donoho (Statistics), Steve Goodman (METRICS), Amy Hodge (Stanford Libraries), and Helen Longino (Philosophy)
